Brockton Michael J. "Bart" Hamill, 44, lifelong of Brockton, died July 28, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army from 1982-1985 and in the Army National Guard. He formerly worked at Alden Products and Avon Tape, and for the past 20 years, he was employed as a groundskeeper for D.W. Field Park Golf Course. He was a member and past vice president of Polish White Eagles and enjoyed ice fishing and woodworking. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine; loving son of Bridie and Fred Swanson, all of Brockton; brother of Donald Hamill of Las Vegas, Fred Swanson of Las Vegas, Karen Roche of Tennessee, Kristin Nolan of East Bridgewater and Kathy Goetsch of Florida; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
