Paula J. Finnegan

POCASSET Paula J. Finnegan, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at the age of 45. Born and raised in Brockton, Paula last resided in Pocasset with her fianc, soul mate and love of her life, Scott Glanvill. She graduated from Brockton High School in 1982 and soon after moved to Cape Cod, where she spent the rest of her life. Paula loved camping, the mountains, motorcycle rides, flowers, cooking, angels, chocolate and anything Disney, as she remained a child at heart. Her greatest joy was providing a loving home for Scott and her granddaughter Aerith. Paula also loved music, especially that of the 1980s, Styx, Heart, etc., and had a beautiful voice that she shared on occasion. Paula leaves behind a loving family that includes her parents, Philip and Jean Finnegan of Barnstable; sisters, Kathy of Centerville and Patty of Boston; brothers, Jay of San Diego and Michael and his wife Karen of Onset; her son, Michael; and granddaughter, Aerith; niece, Lizbeth; and nephew, Alex; her grandmother, Myrtle Josselyn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and everyone she touched. She will be sadly missed by her pets, Jupiter, Sasha, Pork Chop and Levi. Visiting hours were held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., in Bourne. Funeral services in the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial was private.
